Journey to zaheerabad.. experience to remember
Dec 4th 4.30 pm: left the office to station. Reached station at 6pm, as train was at 6.20pm(kacheguda train)During journey, I talked to the co passanger who studied in IIT delhi Mtech. He was telling experiences in the college and Delhi life. As he was hyderdadhi, we asked about film city, how to go.. He told so much about Ramoji, we got excited. After discussing about 2 hrs, at the end, he told he never been there. wat a joke!!
dec 5th 6.30 pm: We reached hyderbad, that guy guided us to go in bus and said its only 2 stops from staion.
We took bus to Koti. In the bus, my friend told (2)Eradu ( he has character like, he talks first in kannada to anybody). Conductor gave 8 tickets, this guy was simply seeing and took eight tickets. Then he showed sign two and took only two tickets and told conductor to inform near Koti. ( I was seeing, wat made him to take 8 tickets.)
Bus was going, 2 stops passed, 3 passed, 4 passed, then we realised we might have crossed the Koti. (Conductor would have shouted, but we dint listen) . We got down 2 stops further, walked back to koti. I always thought of having morning walk, it was very nice morning walk. ( the walk turned to a shock after some distance, as we had luggage too).We had tea in udupi hotel, booked lodge .We freshened and started at 8.30 am to Ramoji. We got #205 bus which charges 10 rs. (we dint book 150 rs bus package) where we met people from bangalore who also had come to visit Ramoji. We reached ramoji at 10am.
Ramoji film city is having good sets and studios, took photos, spent good time around 5 hrs. its a very hyped up place. You dont need one full day to see.we got bored and left at 3.30 pm, got bus to Koti around 4pm. reached 5.30 to room again, had tea again in same udupi hotel, which was half open because of a fear of strike. We talked to the hotel owner, he told its not safe to go out as strike had already started and people had burnt buses and all.
We took 2 hr rest and around 7.30 pm, We watched news and came to know that it was 2 days bandh in hyderabad. we left for dinner. on the way we met again those same guys(morning Banglore people) , where we came to know that their bus ha d been stopped by mob(strike) on the way and they took auto to come back. We thought we were lucky as we dint face any problem. But mind started thinking wats waitng tmrw ?????? :-|
We searched for good restaurant and we found out near Bank street, we gave break to our thoughts and had good party. :-P After coming back to room, we thought and decided and determined(atleast we will try rather than sitting in the room) to go to marriage on next day.
dec 6th: we checked out hotel at 7 am and came to know that all transportation is stoppped. told to hotel guy that we will come back if we dont get anything, to go.As we stepped outside, we saw it was dead silent. After some distance saw some auots here and there. We walked to the MG bus stand, where we saw some people sitting, everthing is empty no bus, no taxi. We enquired is there any way to go to zaheeraabad to attend marriage, came to knw that if we go to outside city Pattencheru or kukkatapalli we will get truck. so we decided to go Pattencheru in auto.we waited for truck to come , waited waited at last one truck came, our auto driver only helped to get seat. Thank God, we are going Zbad. we reached Zbad around 11am.
We attended marriage , my friend in bridegroom was shining. We wished him. My friend was surpirsed that we came from Hyderbad as his collegues got stuck in lodges. We had good marriage food, told my friend to eat more as we dont know, at wat time we will have food again. :)
Now the question was how to come back to hyderbad to catch train at 9pm. trucks wont not go inside city as there were chances of mob attack. so decided to go in train.
Reached station at 2.50 pm, people told there train is at 3 pm. its passenger train, came to know it will reach at 8.30 pm. (Actually it just 80 km distance) that means 6 hrs in train. We knew that there would be a lot of rush as there was only one train that time. Train dint come at 3pm , meanwhile we were watching gully cricket at the near by station, it was also fun as We remebered our childhood cricket. We heard news that India had won 2 nd test agianst SriLanka , felt happy :) Train came at 3.50 pm.Any how managed to get into the train and place for standing. We thought we may miss our train which is at 9pm. somehow had gut feeling that we will makeit. As its passanger train, cycle goes faster than that train.
Hyderabadi people are as helpful as Karnataka people (their pronounciation of the place names is very confusing), they told to catch local train to go to Kacheguda station directly. We came to LingamPalli where we got Phalaknuma local train to kacheguda station, we reached at 8.45pm, ailaa we reached... We were lucky, nobody stopped train in between as they did the next day. We searched for bogie, as we entered into train , it started, we both just laughed as we dont know other than that(atleast me) :)
Dec 7th 12pm: We reached yashwantpur, got bus to majestic and even before the bus started we met with Traffic , my mind told "Welcome to Bangalore" .
It was 3 days of hectic journey full of unexpected things, myself and my friend enjoyed fully. Its good experience to remember, so chalked it out in blog.

Why we call our loved ones as 'Honey' ???

Hi all,
Has anybody thought the answer for above question? Now it has become style symbol to call 'Honey' to loved ones,
1.Are you feeling okay, honey?
Lets see.
Background:
One day morning , I was coming in bike to office, and as usual there was traffic jam near silkboard signal, I was waiting for the green color to come. But anyhow it would take time. (most people know, how much silkboard signal can make you wait.. )In between , I was watching here and there in the signal for better time pass. But no luck. So my mind was trying to find the some topic, simply to think. But unfortunately , the topic came about my health itself. I was thinking, from last 4 months, wats my health status.. mind was analysing.
10%.. 50%... 90% ... 100%
, yeah the analysis is over, an it dispalyed report. The report said, I took 4 sick leave in those 4 months, but 2 are genuine sicks and other 2 are not. :). Ok lets see the report of sicked one.
The one sick leave is stomuch upset, the reason , too much exercise in Gym..
The other sick leave is slight accident, the reason. too much speed in bike....
But no other sickness.. I thought , its good man, I have not suffered from cough and cold from last so many days. Its like achievement, because otherwise this cold is like pickle in meal . So, I thought , I was missing it, but for the good reason. After so much thinking process happened, the Greeen signal came and crossed silkboard junction.
The night , I came late to home, I slept late, morning when I woke up, I could not breath propely,
god .. the reason simple, my nose has blocked, my old friend visited me again thats COLD. I thought, why only unwanted things happens so quickly in life, but no choice, lets face it and enjoy it.
The 2 days was good with inhaling vicks inhaler, but after 2 days also the cold dint stop. After that his friend COUGH also joined. I deteremined , not to go to doctor, as this came because of my mind, and i dint want to waste money for the doctor and antibiotic medicines. So I wanted to take only free, natural remedies. One day , I fully browsed the net, in this 9 out of 10 article gave good solution to the cold and cough. The one in that 'HONEY diagonosis' .
The honey diagonosis is good to control the cough and cold. Its simple thing: mix Warm water + 2 ts Honey + 1 ts lemon . and drink. It really works, atleast it worked for me.
Now come to
Foreground:
In between, I was searching the advantages of honey. then i found so many things:
Listed below are some common problems and ailments which can easily be cured and avoided from the use of Honey:
*****************************************************************************
Skin
Honey is extremely nourishing for the skin when used as face pack and helps in rejuvenating the skin leading to the elimination of fine wrinkles. It is a good moisturiser.
Honey has considerable Laxative effect on the human digestion system which in turn helps in reducing skin problem ie (pimples) and other problems associated with constipation, which become revealed on the skin.
Antibacterial and antifungal properties
Honey contains many minerals and vitamins beneficial to man. However, one of the most important properties seems to be its antibiotic action.
Honey has been shown to be superior to certain conventional antibiotics in treating some infections.
This bactericide (bacteria-killing) property of honey is named "the inhibition effect". Experiments conducted on honey show that its bactericide properties increase twofold when diluted with water. It is very interesting to note that newly born bees in the colony are nourished with diluted honey by the bees responsible for their supervision - as if they know this feature of the honey.
Healing wounds & grazes
Honey is of value in treating burns, infected surgical wounds and ulcers. Honey is very viscous, enabling it to absorb water from surrounding inflamed tissue. For example, a study in West Africa showed that skin grafting, surgical debridement and even amputation were avoided when local application of honey to wound promoted healing, whereas conventional treatment failed.
For such wounds or Grazes, cover the wound with honey and a bandage.
Diarrhoea
At a concentration of 40%, honey has a bactericidal effect on various gut bacteria known to cause diarrhoea and dysentery
Allergies
Raw honey is an excellent treatment for 90% of all allergies.
Teeth
Although Honey is sweet, it helps to maintain and protect teeth! Its anti-microbial activity has been tested on several species of dental plaque bacteria. A study shows that honey has been proven to sharply reduce acid production, thus killing the bacteria responsible for dental caries, and blocking the growth of oral bacteria.
Stomach Ache
Take 1 teaspoon of honey, juice of ½ a lemon with a hot glass of water first thing in the morning.
Colds and coughs
Honey is remedial in cases of persistent coughs and sore throat. The strong antibiotic properties it contains coats the throat and reduces throat irritation.
Mix 6 oz. liquid honey, 2 oz. glycerin with juice of 2 lemons. Bottle and cork firmly. Use as required.
For Blocked noses, Place a dessert spoon of honey in a basin of hot water and inhale fumes after covering your head with a towel over the basin.
For Sore throats, Let 1 teaspoon of honey melt in the back of the mouth and trickle down the throat. Eases inflamed raw tissues.
Uneasiness felt in the mouth & throat due to infection can be relieved immediately with honey, so there is extensive scope for honey in cough mixtures & expectorants.
Honey used for children helps inflammatory throat conditions as it both purifies blood.
Digestion
Because sugar molecules in honey can convert into other sugars (e.g. fructose to glucose), honey is easily digested by the most sensitive stomachs, despite its high acid content. It helps kidneys and intestines to function better. Hence honey is beneficial for maintaining a healthy digestive system as well as combating illnesses such as constipation.
For poor digestion, Mix 1:1 honey with apple cider vinegar and dilute to taste with water.
For patients suffering with various maladies of stomach who consume 10 grams of honey on an empty stomach in the morning & not eat anything thereafter for about 1 hour, will start feeling relief from the disorders within a few days.
Weight control
Honey has a low calorie content. Honey, when it is compared with the same amount of sugar, it gives 40% less calories to the body. Although it gives great energy to the body, it does not add weight.
Rapidly diffuses through the blood
When accompanied by mild water, honey diffuses into the bloodstream in 7 minutes. Its free sugar molecules make the brain function better since the brain is the largest consumer of sugar.
Conjunctivitis (pus in the eye)
Honey dissolved in equal quantity of warm water. Apply, when cooled, as lotion or eye bath.
Blood
Honey provides an important part of the energy needed by the body for blood formation. In addition, it helps in cleansing the blood. It has some positive effects in regulating and facilitating blood circulation. It also functions as a protection against capillary problems and arteriosclerosis.
The Heart
British researchers have discovered that honey slows the oxidation of 'bad' IDL cholesterol, which is responsible for causing arteriosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries. So Honey can fight against Colesterol. And the darker the honey, the better.
Pure honey taken with food daily (instead of white sugar) relieves complains of cholesterol.
This is beneficial for those of Old age, sufferers of Heart-disease, Diabetes, High-blood Pressure, Stroke, and others.
Appetite
Honey improves appetite in children suffering from conditions of Appetite loss.
Headaches & Migraine
